Serve as study abroad advisor for students in assigned college(s); collaborate with colleges and UC Education Abroad team to team to increase number of UC students studying abroad to reach UC 2019 goals; advise current and prospective students on study abroad and exchange opportunities; assist students in identifying options that meet their personal and academic objectives; assist students in application and enrollment processes; provide advising and support to incoming exchange students. Coordinate faculty-led study abroad and study tour programs for assigned colleges; manage all aspects of planning and implementation of these faculty-led study abroad and study tour programs, including (but not limited to) marketing to students, application and enrollment processes, communication with students, financial processes, financial aid processes, flight and land arrangements, collaboration with external partners, pre-departure orientations, etc. Serve as education abroad liaison for assigned colleges/departments; engage in focused effort to increase study abroad awareness and opportunities for students in assigned colleges/academic areas. Assist with other UCI Education Abroad programs, initiatives and special projects as needed. NOTES: 4 openings. Additional Salary Information: Commensurate with experience.

Bachelor's degree with three (3) years experience in a university setting. Experience must be in international study abroad programs. Experience living, studying, or working abroad. Masters degree preferred. Knowledge of one or more languages other than English preferred.
